Facebook Pixel (Meta Pixel)

This website uses the visitor action pixel from Facebook for conversion measurement. The provider of this service is Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland. According to Facebook, however, the collected data is also transferred to the USA and other third countries.

This allows the behavior of site visitors to be tracked after they have been redirected to the provider's website by clicking on a Facebook ad. This allows the effectiveness of Facebook ads to be evaluated for statistical and market research purposes and future advertising measures to be optimized.

The collected data is anonymous to us as the operator of this website; we cannot draw any conclusions about the identity of the users. However, the data is stored and processed by Facebook so that a connection to the respective user profile is possible and Facebook can use the data for its own advertising purposes in accordance with the Facebook data usage policy. This enables Facebook to place ads on Facebook pages as well as outside of Facebook. This use of the data cannot be influenced by us as the site operator.

The use of this service is based on your consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR and § 25 para. 1 TTDSG. Consent can be revoked at any time.

Data transfer to the USA is based on the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission. Details can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/legal/EU_data_transfer_addendum, https://www.facebook.com/help/566994660333381 and https://www.facebook.com/policy.php.

This website uses the TikTok Pixel. The provider is TikTok Technology Limited, 10 Earlsfort Terrace, Dublin, D02 T380, Ireland.

The TikTok Pixel enables TikTok to identify visitors to our website as a target group for the display of ads (so-called “TikTok Ads”). Accordingly, we use the TikTok Pixel to display the TikTok Ads placed by us only to those TikTok users who have also shown an interest in our online offering. With the help of the TikTok Pixel, we also want to ensure that our TikTok Ads correspond to the potential interest of users and are not perceived as annoying. The TikTok Pixel also allows us to track the effectiveness of TikTok ads for statistical and market research purposes by seeing whether users were redirected to our website after clicking on a TikTok ad.

The TikTok Pixel is embedded directly by TikTok when you visit our web pages and can store cookies on your device. If you subsequently log in to TikTok or visit TikTok as a logged-in member, the visit to our online offering is noted in your profile. The data collected about you is anonymous to us and therefore does not allow us to draw any conclusions about the identity of the users. However, the data is stored and processed by TikTok so that a connection to the respective user profile is possible. The processing of the data by TikTok takes place within the framework of TikTok's data usage policy.

6. Newsletter

Newsletter data

If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we require an email address from you as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the email address provided and agree to receive the newsletter. Further data is not collected, or only collected on a voluntary basis. We use this data exclusively for sending the requested information and do not pass it on to third parties.

The data entered in the newsletter registration form is processed exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke your consent to the storage of the data, the email address and its use for sending the newsletter at any time, for example via the “unsubscribe” link in the newsletter. The lawfulness of the data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data you provide to us for the purpose of receiving the newsletter will be stored by us or the newsletter service provider until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and will be deleted from the newsletter distribution list after you unsubscribe from the newsletter or after the purpose no longer applies. We reserve the right to delete or block email addresses from our newsletter distribution list at our own discretion within the scope of our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.
